STREET CHOIR EVENT
7th June 2023 Kirk Ireton
As part of the 2023 Kirk Ireton Wakes Week events, the village hosted a musical Street Choir Evening on Wed 7th June.
We had a fabulous evening thanks to the terrific planning and hospitality of the Kirk Iretonians and we squeezed into their lovely little church with a full house audience and really raised the rafters!

The Kirk Ireton Singers and eight more local amateur choirs - including Raise Your Voices, joined by the Bakewell and District Community Choir, both lead by musical director Lester Simpson - performed a wide range of music at four locations around their lovely village between 7 and 9.15 pm.
Their aim was to fill the village with beautiful sounds, to entertain and to enthuse Kirk Iretoners and the audience about singing. and we hope we helped them achieve that!
Wirksworth on 22nd January 2023.
Raise Your Voices welcomed back the wonderful American a cappella group, Windborne, to give a workshop and then perform in a wonderful total sell out concert!
Fascinating facts about these fabulous singers can be found here - it's a breathtaking read about their skills, interests and achievements...
