RAISE YOUR VOICES Local and Vocal in Wirksworth

"for the joy of singing..."
UPDATE - After the restrictive months of Covid, meeting via Zoom then outdoors at The StarDisk in the Summers of 20/21, we now enjoy singing in harmony again at the Town Hall each week, still adhering to govt guidelines. More details on application:

RYV is a community choir in Wirksworth, formed in April 2009, purely for the joy of singing! We ring the changes from a selection of genres, mostly in four part harmony, offering a warm welcome to all, when good craic and camaraderie abounds!
In May 2022 we finally sprang to public life again and performed at the Farmer's Market in Wirksworth on a lovely warm sunny morning amongst the visitors and stall holders... the place was buzzing and it was grrreat to be back! Photos in the gallery...
Simply come along to Wirksworth Town Hall on a Thursday evening from 7pm-9 pm. Weekly subs are £4 per person. No auditions, no experience necessary, but it's advisable to contact us first so we can email the songs for the week for you to print and bring.
